Purpose of the Trip
The objective of this excursion is for students to learn about sea turtles and their conservation. During their stay in Playa Venao, students will visit the Save the Turtles Foundation, where they will learn about the life cycle of sea turtles, the threats they face, and how we can protect them. They will also have the opportunity to participate in hands-on activities such as releasing baby sea turtles and beach cleanups.

This excursion would take place from Friday November 24th – Monday 27th in Playa Venao, Los Santos, Panama.

In addition to educational activities, students will also have the opportunity to enjoy the beautiful beaches of Playa Venao and participate in extracurricular activities such as yoga, jiu-jitsu, and a tour of a permaculture farm.
Costs
The approximate cost of the excursion is $515.00 per student, and includes:
- Round trip transportation: $70.00
- Accommodation in Eco Venao (3 nights): $150.00
- Food (3 dinners, 2 lunches and 3 breakfasts): $120.00
- Save the Turtles Program & Activities: $150.00
- Educational guided activities: $40.00
